The EasyCap DC60 is a USB video capture device for Windows XP and Vista. The DC60 is one of the cheapest video capture devices, and many do not come with installation CDs. Sometimes sellers ship the wrong drivers, even if you do get an install CD. Finding drivers for XP can be a problem if you didn't get the correct driver file. The solution is to get the correct generic drivers and install them manually.

1.

Download the Synetek STK1160 drivers from the MediaFire download link. Open the ZIP file and extract the drivers to a folder on your desktop.

2.

Plug the EasyCap device into the USB port on the PC. The Add New Hardware Wizard will launch automatically.

3.

Easycap Software Download Windows 10

Choose the option to select the device from a list and click 'Next.'

4.

Choose 'Imaging Device' and Windows will search for drivers. After a minute or two, the computer will state it did not find drivers.

5.

Select the option to install the drivers from a disc and navigate to the folder on your desktop where you extracted the driver files. Click 'Next.' If the computer gives you a warning about compatibility, choose the option to install the driver anyway. Click 'Finish' when it is done installing.

7.

Tip

  • If you don't have video capture software, you can use the StkATVAp program in the drivers folder.
