DESCRIPTION: TOP PANEL A. POWER: This switch turns the power ON/OFF. B. TEMPO -/+: Speeds up or decreases the tempo speed. C. MASTER VOLUME -/+: Increases or decreases the volume of the device. D. OPERATION: The following pages entail a detailed guide on how to use all functions of your Ashton EDP420, please refer to the rear/top panel descriptions on the previous pages to locate the buttons that each description is referring to. SELECT A DRUM KIT:..Page 9: Set Pad Volume
OPERATION: SET A PAD VOLUME: Press the (VOLUME) button once to enter the PAD ASSIGN (VOLUME) menu. The corre- sponding menu indicator should light up. To assign a volume to a pad, select a pad by either pressing the (PAD) button to search through all 7 pads or by hitting the pad you wish to assign a voice to.Page 10: Set Pad Gain
(SAVE) button again. The EDP420 should quit to the kit menu and be set to the current kit if you have successfully saved the kit. Please note that an unsaved user kit will be lost if you change the kit.Page 11: Play Song
MASTER VOLUME: Use the (MASTER VOLUME +/-) buttons to adjust the main volume of the EDP420, The 3 - digit LED screen will read L and then two digits for volume (0 - 9). ACCOMPANIMENT VOLUME:..Page 12: Tempo
OPERATION TEMPO: Press any of the (TEMPO +/-) buttons to enter the tempo menu. Use either button to make the tempo faster or slower respectively (30 - 280BPM). Pressing both buttons together will set the tempo to the current song default. METRONOME: The metronome will automatically engage when a song is playing but with only the indicator flashing.Page 13: Record
